GRAIN SHIPMENTS OF AZERBAIJAN INCERASED APPROXIMATELY BY 100% AS A RESULT OF ACTIVITY OF “AZRUSTRANS”

“Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC transported 2212 tons of grain from Russia to Georgia in January of 2017 that it is 78% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. In January of 2016 the company transported 635 tons of grain cargo.
“Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC transported 2212 tons of grain from Russia to Georgia in January of 2017 that it is 78% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. In January of 2016 the company transported 635 tons of grain cargo. In February, "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC realized 41% of the transported 1404 tons of grain and 100% of shipments during following months with AzRusTrans Company. Thus, in March AzRusTrans provided 100% increase due to 8290 tons of grain cargo that it transported, in April the increase was achieved 93% as a result of the transported 8700 tons. During May and June grain shipments on this route increased by 100%, accordingly in May of 2017 7650 tons and in June 12 232 tons of grain were transported. Since the beginning of 2017, approximately 50 thousand tons of grain have been transported and transit shipments of grain crops between Russia and Georgia have increased by 100%. «AzRusTrans» CJSC works hard to increase customer base and its share in the shipments of Azerbaijan, takes measures to expand cooperation among the countries such as Georgia, Turkey, Russia and Iran.
